Datuk Johan Idris
Chairman
¼¯ÃÀÂé¶¹ Board of Directors
Datuk Johan Idris was appointed Chairman of the ¼¯ÃÀÂé¶¹ Board of Directors effective 1 December 2025. He currently serves as Chairman of Maxis Sdn. Bhd. and Managing Partner of KPMG in Malaysia, and is also a member of the KPMG Asia Pacific Board and the KPMG International Council.
Datuk Johan previously served as President of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) from 2013 to 2015. He is also a Council and Executive Committee member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA).
His professional experience extends beyond Malaysia, having led and managed international assurance assignments, including engagements involving Fortune 500 companies. His expertise spans the automotive, oil and gas, plantation, food and beverage, transportation, retail and manufacturing, technology, and power generation sectors. In recognition of his extensive experience and expertise, he was named CEO Champion by Talent Corporation Malaysia in 2015.
Prof. Dato' Dr. Sufian Jusoh
Vice-Chancellor

Professor Dato’ Dr. Sufian Jusoh has served as Vice-Chancellor of ¼¯ÃÀÂé¶¹ since 5 June 2025. Between 2018 and 2025, he served as Director and Professor of International Trade and Investment at the Institute of Malaysian and International Studies (IKMAS), ¼¯ÃÀÂé¶¹.
He is a globally recognised scholar and expert in international trade and investment, ASEAN and regional integration, and international development. He currently leads a knowledge team supporting Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship 2025, contributing significantly to the ASEAN Vision 2045, the ASEAN Economic Community Strategic Plan 2026–2030, and the ASEAN Higher Education Declaration.
He previously represented Malaysia on the ASEAN High-Level Task Force on the Post-2025 ASEAN Community Vision. Within APEC, he played a key role in Malaysia’s successful APEC 2020 Chairmanship, which resulted in the establishment of the APEC Putrajaya Vision 2040. He also represented Malaysia in preparing the APEC Food Security Action Plan 2030 and served as a delegate to the APEC Investment Experts Group.
Professor Dato’ Dr. Sufian is also an Adviser on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) under ArtNet managed by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP). He serves as an International Investment Policy Consultant to the World Bank Group, an External Fellow at the World Trade Institute, University of Bern, Switzerland, Malaysia’s representative in ERIA RIN, and Co-Founder of the ASEAN Economic Integration Forum.
He has played an important role in investment policy reforms in several countries, including Bangladesh, Malaysia, Laos, Myanmar, Timor-Leste, the Federated States of Micronesia, and Pakistan. He also collaborates with global institutions such as the World Economic Forum, the World Trade Institute, the University of Oxford, and the University of Cambridge. In addition, he was entrusted by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia to establish the Malaysia–Switzerland Higher Education Network.
He is a Barrister-at-Law (England and Wales) of Lincoln’s Inn, London, and holds an LL.B (Hons.) from Cardiff Law School, an LL.M (Merit) from University College London, and a Doctor of Law (summa cum laude) from the University of Bern, Switzerland.
Prof. Datuk Dr. Azlinda Azman
Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia Representative
Professor Datuk Dr. Azlinda Azman was appointed as a Member of the ¼¯ÃÀÂé¶¹ Board of Directors (Representative of the Ministry of Higher Education) on 31 May 2023. She began her public service career as a lecturer at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2005.
She has served as Dean of the School of Social Sciences at USM and was appointed Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs) of USM in 2022. She is actively involved in social work and served as President of the Malaysian Association of Social Workers from 2021 to 2023. In 2021, she received the Social Work Icon Award from the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development. She holds a PhD in Clinical Social Work from New York University, United States.
Mrs. Habshah Ali

Ms. Habshah Ali holds an MBA from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and a Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons.) from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). She currently serves as Deputy Undersecretary of the Policy and Management Division, Ministry of Finance.
With more than two decades of public service experience, she has served in the Public Service Department, the Ministry of Works, the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security. Her expertise includes remuneration policy, human capital development, budget management, procurement, agricultural disaster management, and the coordination of large-scale programmes. She also serves on the boards of various agencies and management bodies relating to appointments and disciplinary matters and has received several honours and awards for outstanding public service.
Dato’ Dr. Mohd Zaidi Md Zain@Zakaria

Dato’ Dr. Mohd Zaidi Md Zain @ Zakaria was appointed as a Member of the ¼¯ÃÀÂé¶¹ Board of Directors (Community Representative) on 1 March 2023. He owns the Syariah legal firm Zaidi Zain & Associates and has extensive experience handling litigation cases in Syariah Courts throughout Malaysia.
He is also a director and shareholder of Suasana Cemerlang Development Sdn. Bhd., which is actively involved in housing development projects. In addition, he serves as an Executive Committee member of the Malaysian Syariah Lawyers Association. He holds both a Master’s degree and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Syariah and Law from the Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya.
Tan Sri Dr. Sharifah Zarah Syed Ahmad

Tan Sri Dr. Sharifah Zarah Syed Ahmad was appointed as a Member of the ¼¯ÃÀÂé¶¹ Board of Directors (Private Sector Representative) on 16 March 2025. She holds a PhD in Strategic Social Planning with a specialisation in Women in Decision-Making from the School of Politics and International Relations, University of Leeds, United Kingdom.
She also holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development and Industrial Relations from the Graduate School of Public and International Relations, University of Pittsburgh, United States, a Diploma in Management from the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN), and a certificate in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
An accomplished leader with an impressive track record, she dedicated 38 years of her life to public service as an Administrative and Diplomatic Officer. Her last position was Secretary-General of the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia. Her areas of expertise include international relations, transformational leadership, public policy and governance, women’s empowerment, organisational development, strategic communication, and community development.
Dato' Hisham Nordin

Dato’ Hisham Nordin was appointed as a Member of the ¼¯ÃÀÂé¶¹ Board of Directors (Private Sector Representative) on 1 June 2025. He is a highly experienced figure in engineering, corporate management, and public service, with more than 35 years of experience.
He holds a Master’s degree in Economic Crime Management from HELP University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sunderland. He has served in the private sector, including with Indah Water Konsortium, Johawaki Group, and several leading construction companies.
In the public sector, he played an important role as Director of the NKRA Against Corruption at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and as a Special Officer at the Prime Minister’s Department and the Ministry of Education. He currently holds strategic positions at MyIPO, the Malaysian Rubber Council, and several corporate organisations, with active involvement in governance, risk management, finance, and organisational integrity.
Dato’ Yeow Wah Chin

Dato’ Yeow Wah Chin was appointed as a Member of the ¼¯ÃÀÂé¶¹ Board of Directors (Alumni Representative) on 15 May 2019. He possesses extensive experience in banking and commercial law and currently serves as Joint Managing Partner of the law firm Messrs. Yeow & Salleh.
He has served for several years on the Disciplinary Committee of Advocates and Solicitors and was also a member of the Bar Council’s Conveyancing Practice Committee. A ¼¯ÃÀÂé¶¹ alumnus, he holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from ¼¯ÃÀÂé¶¹, a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, United Kingdom, and a Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP).
He is also actively involved in non-governmental organisations, including serving as Council Chairman of Lions Clubs International Multiple District 308 for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei, Legal Adviser to the Hokkien Association, and Legal Adviser to the Association of Sign Language Interpreters for the Deaf in the Federal Territories and Selangor.
Prof. Dr. Mohamad Tajuddin Haji Mohamad Rasdi
Knowledgeable and Experience Representative
Professor Dr. Mohamad Tajuddin Mohamad Hj. Rasdi was appointed as a Member of the ¼¯ÃÀÂé¶¹ Board of Directors (Representative with Knowledge and Experience) on 1 June 2023. He served as a Professor at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) for 28 years before joining UCSI University in 2015, where he continues to serve today.
He obtained both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee before earning his PhD from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
Professor Dr. Mohamad Tajuddin is a prolific author and speaker on architecture, politics, social issues, religion, and education. His distinguished achievements include the publication of 60 books on Islamic architecture, mosques, housing, community building, and administrative centre planning. He is also a columnist for several mass media publications and has served as a member of the National Unity Consultative Council and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) Council.
His excellence has been recognised through several awards, including the Civil Society Award from the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall, the National Unity Award from the Association of Private Universities, and four recognitions in the National Book Awards.
En. Mohammad Khairul Nazri Ghazali

Mr. Mohammad Khairul Nazri Ghazali currently serves as Head of the Government Cash Assistance Secretariat at the Ministry of Finance Malaysia. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), an Executive Diploma in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), and a Diploma in Public Administration from INTAN.
He has extensive experience in government finance and public cash assistance programmes and has previously served as Private Secretary to a Deputy Minister. He also serves on the boards of several agencies and has received numerous excellent service awards throughout his career.
