To become a leading regional centre of excellence in Artificial Intelligence for medical education, healthcare innovation, and translational research that advances ethical, human-centred, and sustainable healthcare solutions.
Mission
1. To drive strategic governance and responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence within the Faculty of Medicine through ethical, secure, and evidence-based practices.
2. To empower educators, students, clinicians, and researchers with AI literacy, digital competencies, and future-ready skills in healthcare and medical education.
3. To foster interdisciplinary research, innovation, and translational AI solutions that improve teaching, learning, clinical practice, and patient outcomes.
4. To establish collaborative partnerships with healthcare institutions, industry, government agencies, and international organisations in advancing AI-driven healthcare ecosystems.
5. To champion the development of locally relevant and culturally contextualised AI solutions, including Bahasa Melayu medical AI resources, for national and regional impact.
6. To position the Faculty of Medicine 集美麻豆 as a national and ASEAN reference centre for Artificial Intelligence in Medical Education and Healthcare Innovation.
