Master in Dental Public Health (MDPH)
The Master in Dental Public Health (MDPH) programme at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia is a one-year full-time coursework programme designed to equip students with master-level knowledge and skills to address public health issues related to oral health.
The programme is open to both Malaysian and international candidates, providing opportunities for a diverse learning environment and exchange of global perspectives in oral health.
Graduates are prepared to become leaders and advocates in oral health through training in public health principles, research methodology and biostatistics, clinical preventive dentistry, population oral health, professionalism, informatics, photography in dentistry, and dental public health research. The degree also provides a pathway for further study in the Doctor in Dental Public Health programme, PhD programme, or for careers in research, policy, and community health practice.
