Eid Mubarak – Maaf Zahir Batin
The holy month of Ramadhan is coming to an end and it will soon be Syawal and the time for Muslims to rejoice and celebrate their month of fasting and submission to Allah s.w.t. We all hope and pray that we will live to see the next Ramadhan, as we get closer to each of our own destiny in meeting the Great Creator. The greatest way to thank Allah for the gift of Islam is for us all to practice it.
For the citizens of UMBI, staff and students, it is also a time for a much deserved break to celebrate with families and friends. On behalf of the management team in UMBI, I would like to wish all research fellows, staff (UMBI and The Malaysian Cohort) and students (including the students attending their industry training with us), Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri and Maaf Zahir Batin. May Allah bestow upon us His mercy and His countless blessings. Travel safely and hope everyone will come back feeling rejuvenated to continue the wonderful research work which we all are doing.
