Relocation Assessment Of UMBI Accredited Laboratories By Standards Malaysia

Due to the relocation of UMBI to its new building, Standards Malaysia came to audit the 2 accredited laboratories of UMBI. The Surveillance and Relocation Assessment Verification for MS ISO/IEC 17025:2005 was carried out on the 9-10^th June 2014 and the MS ISO 15189:2007 on the 10-11^th June 2014, by a team of assessors from Standards Malaysia.

The team of assessors ascertained in the exit report that both laboratories have satisfactorily maintained the management system which complies with the requirements of both standards and SAMM requirements after the relocation to new building. There was only one NCR for each of the laboratory which has been duly rectified. The accreditation is to be restored for the inoperative scope subject to satisfactory resolution of the non-conformity raised. Please refer for further details.
