集美麻豆 through the Solar Energy Research Institute (SERI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center in an effort to move towards a more sustainable and resilient future. 集美麻豆 was represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation Affairs), Prof. Dato’ Dr. Wan Kamal Mujani. Meanwhile, Kuala Lumpur Convention Center was represented by its General Manager, John Burke. This collaboration involves the expertise of SERI led by Prof. Associate Dr. Norasikin Ahmad Ludin to assess the sustainability of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center using scientific methods with reference to globally recognized standards. The data will be used to create a comprehensive report on the center’s sustainability performance. Also present was the Director of SERI, Prof. Associate Dr. Mohd Adib Ibrahim and Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre’s Deputy General Manager, Robert Hatton-Jones.

Menteri Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi, Yang Berhormat Tuan Chang Lih Kang merasmikan World Renewable Energy Congress (WREC) XXII 2023 di Pusat Konvensyen Kuala Lumpur (KLCC), hari ini.
Kongres antarabangsa dengan tema 鈥淭ransition Towards a Carbon-Free Future鈥 ini yang berlangsung selama lima hari bermula 16 Julai 2023, mengumpulkan para saintis, penggubal dasar, pemain industri khususnya Tenaga Boleh Baharu (TBB), pelajar dan wakil komuniti dari dalam dan luar negara.
Kongres ini merupakan platform penting untuk penerokaan teknologi dan kerjasama, sesi sumbang-saran serta perkongsian inovasi baharu dan amalan
terbaik
dalam peralihan tenaga untuk mencapai sasaran penyahkarbonan.
Kongres yang dianjurkan oleh Institut Penyelidikan Tenaga Suria (SERI-UKM) dan World Renewable Energy Network (WREN) dengan kerjasama Pusat Nanoteknologi Kebangsaan (NNC), Kementerian Sains, Teknologi Dan Inovasi (MOSTI) turut menyaksikan pemeteraian kerjasama antara MOSTI dengan NanoMalaysia, Petronas, UMW dan MGTC untuk pelaksanaan Mobile Hydrogen Refueling Station Project.
Hadir sama adalah Ketua Setiausaha (KSU) MOSTI; Datuk Ts. Dr. Haji Aminuddin Hassim, Timbalan KSU (Pembangunan Teknologi) MOSTI, Datuk Ts. Dr. Mohd Nor Azman Hassan, Timbalan Naib Canselor Hal Ehwal Penyelidikan dan Inovasi; Prof. Dato鈥 Dr. Wan Kamal Mujani, Pengarah Urusan WREN; Prof Ali Sayigh, Pengerusi WREC 2023; Prof. Dato鈥 Ts. Dr. Kamaruzzaman Sopian dan Timbalan Setiausaha Bahagian (Dasar), Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi; Puan Suraya Hani Saleh.

The Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, the Honorable Tuan Chang Lih Kang officiated the World Renewable Energy Congress (WREC) XXII 2023 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC), today.
This international congress with the theme “Transition Towards a Carbon-Free Future” which lasts for five days starting on July 16, 2023, gathers scientists, policy makers, industry players especially Renewable Energy (TBB), students and community representatives from home and abroad .
The Congress is an important platform for technology exploration and collaboration, brainstorming sessions and sharing of new innovations and practices

in the energy transition to achieve decarbonisation targets.
The congress organized by the Solar Energy Research Institute (SERI-UKM) and the World Renewable Energy Network (WREN) in collaboration with the National Nanotechnology Center (NNC), Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) also witnessed the signing of a collaboration between MOSTI and NanoMalaysia, Petronas, UMW and MGTC for the implementation of the Mobile Hydrogen Refueling Station Project.
Also present were the Chief Secretary (KSU) of MOSTI; Datuk Ts. Dr. Haji Aminuddin Hassim, KSU Deputy (Technology Development) MOSTI, Datuk Ts. Dr. Mohd Nor Azman Hassan, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation Affairs; Prof. Dato’ Dr. Wan Kamal Mujani, Managing Director of WREN; Prof Ali Sayigh, Chairman of WREC 2023; Prof. Dato’ Ts.
