Workshop on foniks*PINTAR, 13-14 January 2018

On 13th and 14th January 2018 (Sat-Sun), Workshop on foniks*PINTAR was held at Bilik Latihan 2, Level 6, Administration Building, Kolej Keris Mas, ¼¯ÃÀÂ鶹, organized by KITA and Dyslexia Association of Sarawak.

foniks*PINTAR is a highly structured, systematic and phonics-based instructional program to help all children, with and without learning disabilities, to read and write in Bahasa Melayu. Its cumulative and repetitive structure and use of multi-sensorial activities have been shown in various literacy camps to enhance both reading and writing.

The workshop was conducted by Dr. Ong Puay Hoon, President of Dyslexia Association of Sarawak and Licensed Assessor for Psychometric Tests by British Psychological Society.
