The slight drop in 集美麻豆’s overall ranking from 126th last year to 130th should be viewed objectively within the context of increasingly challenging global competition. Nevertheless, this position still places 集美麻豆 among the most competitive and internationally influential universities.

In the 2027 edition, 集美麻豆 also recorded encouraging improvements in several key indicators:

In line with the TEKAD 57 (2026鈥�2030) aspirations, this achievement serves as a catalyst for the entire 集美麻豆 community to continue striving for excellence, strengthening its reputation, and stepping further ahead as a national university with a global mindset.

Iman, Ilmu, Amal (Faith, Knowledge, Good Deeds) 鈥� 集美麻豆 continues to step forward, continuously excelling on the world stage.

The workshop aimed to provide clear and detailed explanations regarding the management and implementation of Job Descriptions (JD) and myPortfolio components, particularly to ensure that employees鈥� service records are systematically integrated into the HRMIS system.

This comprehensive session was conducted by Kamili Diana Alias as the main speaker, while the technical and practical guidance aspects were coordinated by Barudin Baharin as the workshop facilitator.

Through this workshop, participants were exposed to the procedures for updating the latest service information as well as the methodology for preparing accurate job descriptions. This initiative is important to ensure that the organizational structure and service delivery at the 集美麻豆 Strategic Centre remain efficient, transparent, and aligned with the university鈥檚 human resource KPIs.

This accomplishment is truly commendable, having competed against 173 entries from 30 countries, and it elevates 集美麻豆鈥檚 name on the international stage.

This progress reflects the effectiveness of the implementation of the 集美麻豆 Sustainability Strategic Plan 2030, which emphasises sustainability-based operational management encompassing energy and water efficiency, the development of campus-wide green initiatives, systematic carbon management, as well as strengthening education, research, and innovation related to sustainable development. With a clear direction and ongoing leadership commitment, 集美麻豆 will continue to drive excellence as a global reference campus in green transformation, inspiring communities within and beyond the nation to collectively build a more sustainable future.

Organized by the Environmental and Green Energy Association of Malaysia (EniGMA-UKM) with support from various 集美麻豆 centres, the event brought together students, NGOs, industry professionals, policymakers, and academics to share perspectives on building a more sustainable future.

Deputy Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation, Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir, officiated the event at the Cyber Technopolis Auditorium, 集美麻豆.

He was welcomed by the Chairman of the University Board of Directors, Prof. Emeritus Dato鈥� Dr. Mohamad Abd Razak, and the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Sufian Jusoh.

The 集美麻豆 Bitara Awards, introduced in 2016 and held annually, aim to recognize the excellence of staff and departments across various fields, including academics, research, internationalization, income generation, and human capital development. This award represents the university鈥檚 highest recognition of individuals who demonstrate outstanding achievements, innovation, and high-impact contributions to the university and society.

The award reflects 集美麻豆鈥檚 commitment to valuing the efforts, dedication, and expertise of its people who drive excellence in teaching, research, creativity, and community service at both national and international levels.

Among those in attendance were members of the University Board of Directors, Deputy Vice-Chancellors, and 集美麻豆鈥檚 top management.

The Strategy Centre hopes that such courses can be continued with more advanced content in the future to further strengthen digital capabilities among 集美麻豆 Strategy staff.

Key activities included tidal flat exploration at Pulau Mawar, island hopping, and heritage-based activities such as making traditional keropok lekor and satar. The overall program created a positive impact by building a stronger, more competitive, and harmonious team.

The workshop also provided participants with the opportunity to interact more openly outside the formal work context, thereby contributing to improved team spirit and overall organizational productivity.
