In 1978, unit of Electronic was established under the Department of Physics in the Faculty of Science, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. It became a full department in 1982 and established in November 1, 1984 as part of the department in Faculty of Engineering, which was also founded at the same time. The Department of Electrical, Electronic and Systems Engineering is now located at level 2 of Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment.<\/p>\n

To educate students for professional careers as engineers with advanced technical knowledge which is based on strong applied science knowledge coupled with applications of engineering practice and an ability to understand the impact of technology and to communicate well<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

To carry out both theoretical and experimental research in electrical, electronics and computer engineering and to disseminate the results in the form of publications, patents and technology transfer to industry<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
