SCOPE<\/strong><\/p>\n International Journal of the Malay World and Civilisation is published three times a year by the Institute of the Malay World and Civilisation, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. The primary aim of the journal is to publish research undertaken by scholars and researchers in the field of Malay studies, including science and technology, language and linguistics, traditional and modern literature, history, human habitat and environment, culture and philosophy in the Malay world.<\/p>\n MANUSCRIPTS<\/strong><\/p>\n Manuscripts, in Malay and English, submitted to the journal for publication must be original contributions, and have not been previously published or under consideration for publication elsewhere. They should be typed double-space with wide margins to allow for editorial comments. The first page of the manuscript should contain the title, the author\u2019s name, postal address with postcode and e-mail address. While the manuscript is being processed for publication, be sure to inform the editor of any change in address. The paper passed the plagiarism test with a passing score of <20. Editors reserve the right to edit manuscripts as seem appropriate.<\/p>\n Articles should be sent via e-mail to:<\/p>\n Ketua Editor Jurnal Antarabangsa Alam dan Tamadun Melayu ABSTRACTS<\/strong><\/p>\n Include an abstract in English and Malay of 250-300 words.<\/p>\n KEYWORDS<\/strong><\/p>\n Give 4-5 keywords.<\/p>\n NUMBER OF WORDS IN THE PAPER\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Prepare a length of 5000-7000 words.<\/p>\n NOTES<\/strong><\/p>\n Footnotes are not recommended. If absolutely necessary, they should be kept to an absolute minimum and placed as end-notes which must be numbered consecutively.<\/p>\n REFERENCES<\/strong><\/p>\n APPENDIXES<\/strong><\/p>\n Samples, questionnaires, technical notes, maps, illustrations, tables and other essential information should be presented in appendixes. Each appendix must be given a title. They are referred to in the text by their labels.<\/p>\n REFEREEING<\/strong><\/p>\n All manuscripts will be reviewed by the Editorial Board and at least one independent reviewer. The decision regarding the publication of a manuscript is based on their recommendations.<\/p>\n OFF-PRINTS<\/strong><\/p>\n Each author will be given a pdf copy of the journal with a pdf copy of their paper for printing.
