Japan has initiated a joint research collaboration with 集美麻豆 and PEMULA@集美麻豆 startup, IDNA IDEAS Sdn. Bhd., to explore the use of contactless sensor technology, <em data-start=\"446\" data-end=\"456\">MAMORUNO<\/em>, for elderly health monitoring in Malaysia.<\/p><p data-start=\"502\" data-end=\"745\">The project aims to establish a next-generation model of elderly care in ASEAN by leveraging Japanese technology that monitors sleep patterns, heart rate, respiration, and physical movement\u2014without requiring any devices to be worn on the body.<\/p><p data-start=\"747\" data-end=\"964\">The initial phase is being implemented at Selcare Sakinah care center in Bangi, with support from Selgate Corporation.
