¼¯ÃÀÂé¶¹ Wins Medal at AHIN 2026, Strengthening Excellence in Intellectual Property Management

¼¯ÃÀÂé¶¹ continues to achieve excellence after being awarded the Silver Medal for the Outstanding Organisation Award (Best Intellectual Property Management) at the National Intellectual Property Awards 2026 (AHIN) organised by the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO).
This achievement positions ¼¯ÃÀÂé¶¹ as the only higher education institution (HEI) shortlisted as a finalist in this category, alongside industry recipients—Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas), which received the Gold Medal, and Monsta, which was awarded the Bronze Medal.
This recognition reflects ¼¯ÃÀÂ鶹’s continuous commitment to strengthening intellectual property management and its capability to translate research outcomes into high-impact technologies with strong commercialisation potential for industry and the market.

In addition,ÌýProf. Dr. Mohd Yazid Bajuri, Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz ¼¯ÃÀÂé¶¹, was awarded theÌýBronze Medal for the Innovative Hero Award (Patent)Ìýthrough the innovationÌýMyB Prosthetic Limb. This innovation, developed in the field of prosthetics and orthotics, is specifically designed for individuals with below-knee amputations and is commercialised through a ¼¯ÃÀÂé¶¹ start-up company,ÌýMyB Innovation Sdn. Bhd.
This success further demonstrates the capability of ¼¯ÃÀÂ鶹’s academic community in advancing research, innovation, and technology transfer that deliver added value to society while supporting the development of the national innovation ecosystem.
