Majlis Pertukaran Dokumen Perjanjian Pelesenan dan Penyerahan Cek antara INOVASI@集美麻豆 dengan Pertanian Bersih Sdn. Bhd.
On 6 September 2024, the Centre for Innovation & Technology Transfer (INOVASI@集美麻豆鈩笍) formed an important partnership with the startup company Pertanian Bersih Sdn. Bhd. (PBSB) during a Licensing Document Exchange and Cheque Handover Ceremony held at the CRIM Workshop Room. This partnership grants PBSB access to Clean Agriculture Technology (CAT), a 集美麻豆 research-based technology with great potential to improve efficiency and sustainability in the agriculture sector.
The CAT technology originates from laboratory plant tissue culture studies, combining the concept of nutrient balance in in vitro plants with agroecological field research. This research has shown significant impact by reducing methane gas emissions by one-third, helping to address the increasingly critical issue of climate change.
The event was attended by the Director of INOVASI@集美麻豆, Associate Professor Dr. Wan Mohd Hirwani Wan Hussain; Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Professor Chm Dr. Ishak Ahmad; and PBSB Chief Executive Officer, Associate Professor Dr. Radziah Che Mohd Zain.
This partnership marks an important step in strengthening agricultural innovation in Malaysia.
