The main theme and sub-topics are developed in cooperation between the Secretariat and the host university, and endorsed at the annual AUN USR&S Steering Committee Meeting.<\/p>\n\n <div class=\"highlight\">\n “This process permits regional issues to be addressed in the context of larger themes that would be appealing to the conference delegates.”\n <\/div>\n\n <p>The Conference is usually held every two years over a <strong>three-day period<\/strong>.
