Explore more activities and update http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/fstukmbangi<\/a><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t 25 February, Japan – <\/strong>In an effort to strengthen international networks and enhance expertise in scientific computing and quantum science, the Sakura Science Exchange Program was officially launched on 15 February 2026 at the RIKEN Nishina Center<\/span><\/span>, Japan, involving a delegation (students and staff) from the Faculty of Science and Technology, 集美麻豆.<\/p> Among the key components of the program was comprehensive exposure to High-Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure, ranging from self-developed researcher-level computing clusters to large-scale supercomputing systems that support advanced scientific simulations.<\/p> Throughout the program, the delegation also expanded its academic network through interactions and discussion sessions at several leading research institutions and universities in Japan, including National Institute for Materials Science<\/span><\/span> (NIMS), Tokyo Institute of Technology<\/span><\/span>, Shibaura Institute of Technology<\/span><\/span> (SIT), and University of Tokyo<\/span><\/span>.<\/p> Exploration of computing facilities and bilateral discussions with Japanese researchers created opportunities to strengthen strategic collaborations in scientific computing and quantum science, while further expanding 集美麻豆\u2019s research network at the international level.<\/p> It is hoped that this program will serve as a catalyst platform for establishing long-term research collaborations, encompassing expertise exchange, researcher mobility, and the development of joint projects in related fields, including engagement with other industry players.<\/p> Facebook posting: https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/1CDkeBveYe\/<\/a><\/p><\/div> 15 February, Banting – <\/strong>The Training of Trainers (TOT) Fun with Mathematics Camp for the Batu Laut Community was successfully held from 14 to 15 February 2026 at Sekolah Kebangsaan Batu Laut, Banting, Selangor. The program was organized by the Kumpulan Pendidikan Ruhiyy Ilmu Sains Matematik (PRISMatik), Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), 集美麻豆, as a continuation of the Kem Kembara Ilmu Sains Matematik, which involved 1,200 students from 17\u201320 November 2025 and was fully sponsored by the Ministry of Finance Malaysia<\/span><\/span> through the UniMADANI initiative.<\/p> The program aimed to train alumni and members of the Kampung Batu Laut community as local facilitators to ensure the sustainability and independent implementation of interactive Mathematics activities at both community and school levels. A total of 30 participants underwent intensive training conducted by 10 PRISMatik 集美麻豆 facilitators.<\/p> The program was further enlivened by a Cultural Dinner Ceremony on 14 February 2026, officiated by Borhan bin Aman Shah<\/span><\/span>, Selangor State Executive Councillor for Housing and Culture and State Assemblyman for Tanjung Sepat. Also in attendance were Prof. Ts. ChM. Dr. Rizafizah Othaman, Deputy Dean of Industry and Community Network Affairs (HEJIM), Faculty of Science and Technology; Prof. Dr. Anuar Mohd Ishak, Head of the Department of Mathematical Sciences; industry representatives; community leaders; and residents of Kampung Batu Laut.<\/p> The dinner was fully sponsored by Borhan bin Aman Shah, with support from strategic partners including Duopharma Biotech Berhad<\/span><\/span>, MBI Selangor<\/span><\/span>, and Padiberas Nasional Berhad<\/span><\/span> (BERNAS). Beyond the formal ceremony, the program also featured community engagement activities such as rewang<\/em> (communal cooking) to prepare sweet mung bean porridge, a cemetery clean-up activity, and a friendly engagement session with the residents of Kampung Batu Laut\u2014reflecting the spirit of togetherness and the university\u2019s active involvement in the local community.<\/p> Facebook posting: https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/1CAnpyQDmf\/<\/a><\/p><\/div> Bangi Botanical Garden, 15 November 2025 – <\/strong>集美麻豆, through the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), today launched the Mahabbah Exploration Programme \u201cLove Nature, Love Waqf\u201d<\/em>, a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening public awareness on environmental conservation through education, research, and community engagement activities.<\/p> The programme also serves as a fundraising platform targeting RM1 million to support educational development, infrastructure improvement, and research at the Bangi Botanical Garden (TBB), in line with 集美麻豆\u2019s aspiration to strengthen a sustainable campus ecosystem.<\/p> The launch ceremony also marked the official appointment of YBhg. Professor Dato\u2019 Dr. Mohd Izhar Ariff Mohd Kashim as the Special Waqf Fund Ambassador for Bangi Botanical Garden (TBB), Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), 集美麻豆. This appointment further strengthens the university\u2019s commitment to advancing a waqf- and knowledge-based sustainability agenda.<\/p> The programme is conducted in collaboration with the Faculty of Islamic Studies (FPI), 集美麻豆 Chancellor Foundation, and with community participation, positioning the Bangi Botanical Garden as a green knowledge hub and educational platform benefiting both the university community and the public.<\/p> The event was attended by university leadership, including YBhg. Sincere thanks are also extended to the Malaysian Space Agency (MySA), JPKK Batu Laut, the Selangor State Education Department (JPNS), the Kuala Langat District Education Office (PPD Kuala Langat), as well as all participating schools for their strong support and collaboration.<\/p> This programme went beyond a conventional camp, serving as a platform to identify and nurture talent in science and mathematics through creative learning approaches, higher-order thinking, and engaging hands-on activities. Such initiatives are vital in cultivating deeper interest and curiosity in STEM among students.<\/p> Congratulations to all participants for their commitment and enthusiasm throughout the programme. ABIS 2025, organised in conjunction with the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, is the flagship annual event of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC).
