complete a Malay language course. The graduation grade for postgraduate students is Grade L, which is a passing grade required for graduation. For undergraduate students, the minimum passing grade is D.<\/li><li>Postgraduate students who lack basic knowledge and skills in Malay or whose country does not have Malay as its main language (national language or official language) must enrol in the LMCM1083 course.<\/li><li>Students from countries where Malay is the main language (native speakers), such as Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, and Southern Thailand, are required to take the LMCM1093 course.<\/li><li>International undergraduate students who either lack basic knowledge or possess basic knowledge of the Malay language are required to take the LMCW2193 course.<\/li><li>This new course offering commenced in Semester 1 of the 2019-2020 session.<\/li><li>Starting from Semester 1 of the 2019-2020 session, international students at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia only need to take one course, either LMCM1083 or LMCM1093 (based on their admission offer letter).
