lang=\"EN-MY\">In pre-Islamic Arab society, an individual\u2019s position was largely determined by lineage and social status. This reality made the romantic relationship between Antarah ibn Shaddad, a poet of slave descent, and Abla binti Malik, a noblewoman of her tribe, difficult for the community to accept. This study examines how social hierarchy and lineage stratification are portrayed in Antarah\u2019s love poems, and how the elements of love, identity and honour interact within the sociocultural context of the Jahiliyyah era. Employing a sociocultural analytical framework and thematic analysis of selected poems, the study explores representations of social status and the struggles faced by the central figures. The findings indicate that the rejection of Antarah by Abla\u2019s family reflects societal views that prioritised lineage, while Antarah\u2019s poems served as a medium to assert values of bravery, love and the desire for dignified recognition. The study concludes that Antarah\u2019s love poetry is not merely a personal narrative, but a manifestation of human resistance against social injustice. However, preserving cultural identity poses a significant challenge for translators, particularly when attempting to find appropriate equivalents during the translation process. Therefore, this study aims to identify the cultural identity of the Malay community as portrayed in the Upin &amp; Ipin animated series. In addition, this article analyzes the types of problems involved in translating Malay culture into Arabic. This study adopts a qualitative approach, using content analysis as the method for collecting data from five episodes of the Upin &amp; Ipin animated series, which were translated into both Arabic and Malay versions. A total of 30 samples were analyzed descriptively as examples of the application of Newmark\u2019s translation strategies. The findings reveal five main categories of cultural identity: ecological, material, social, organizational, and customs or beliefs. Among the main challenges identified in cultural translation are issues of cultural equivalence, linguistic and dialectal differences, cultural and religious sensitivity, as well as the translation of proper names and local terms. This study provides implications for amateur translators as a guideline for translating Malay cultural identity, particularly through local literary works. Abdulrahman Alosman<\/p><p>This study examines the perceptions of undergraduate Arabic language major students in Malaysian universities regarding the role of prescribed Arabic prose texts in enhancing their cultural awareness. The study adopted the descriptive-analytical method as its foundational framework. Data were collected via an electronic questionnaire administered to a student\u2019s sample of major in Arabic language at International Islamic University Malaysia of 40 participants during the second semester of the academic year 2025\/2026. The findings revealed that the students&#8217; level of awareness of Arabic culture through prose texts was generally high, with an overall mean score of 4.04. The item related to deepening the understanding of Islamic concepts associated with Arabic culture ranked highest, with a mean score of 4.23. Furthermore, the results indicated that the students&#8217; overall perceptions of the effectiveness of prose texts (such as stories, letters, articles, speeches, and novels) as educational and cultural tools were highly positive, yielding an overall mean score of 3.58. These are treated as fundamental keywords that reveal the universal objectives (Al-Maq\u0101\u1e63id al-Kulliyya) of divine revelation. The study distinguishes between the chronological order of the Qur\u2019an&#8217;s revelation (Al-Tanz\u012bl), which occurred gradually in response to specific events, and the structural-canonical order (Al-Nazm) as compiled in the Mus\u1e25af, corresponding to the preserved format in the &#8220;Al-Law\u1e25 al-Ma\u1e25f\u016b\u1e93.&#8221; Employing a descriptive-analytical approach based on the induction and rhetorical analysis of Qur\u2019anic texts, the research examines the correlation between these openings and the general objectives of the Qur\u2019an. The findings reveal that these four terms serve as the primary thematic openings both chronologically and structurally, representing comprehensive keywords for the grand objectives of the Qur\u2019an. Furthermore, the results demonstrate a miraculous consistency (Tan\u0101sub) manifested in the link between the chronological beginning of the revelation and its structural arrangement in the Mus\u1e25af. It eventually developed into a refined literary genre during the late Abbasid period, characterized by concise prose, rhetorical sophistication, and rhythmic, often rhymed language. While entertaining, the maq\u0101mah primarily served to display linguistic mastery and convey moral and social commentary<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-MY\">Though rooted in Arabic tradition, the genre spread beyond the Arab world, including Yorubaland in southwestern Nigeria, where scholars such as Shaykh Mas\u02bf\u016bd \u02bfAbd al-Ghaniy Adebay\u1ecd\u0300, Y\u016bsuf Aj\u00e9\u0323gunl\u00e8, and \u02bfAbd al-B\u0101r\u012b Ad\u00e9t\u00e8\u0323nj\u00ed contributed to its development. Ad\u00e9t\u00e8\u0323nj\u00ed\u2019s Kiswat al-\u02bf\u0100r\u012b f\u012b Maq\u0101m\u0101t \u02bfAbd al-B\u0101r\u012b 2017 reflects a modern African engagement with the tradition<\/span><span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-MY\"> This study analyzes rhetorical imagery in the twenty-third maq\u0101mah, al-Maghribiyyah, focusing on devices such as metaphor, simile, and wordplay. style=\"text-align: left;\">Abu Dulamah, besides being known as a court poet during the early Abbasid Caliphate, was also known as a comedian. His humor had a distinctive style, namely mocking himself, his wife, and members of his family. There are several studies discussing him, such as Fahndrich (1977), who examined his anecdotes. This article aims to explore whether it is true that the poetry created by Abu Dulamah, uses the technique of self-deprecating humor, thus making the poems humorous. In conducting this research, the author used qualitative research methods, library research, and descriptive analysis. Data were collected from journal articles, books, and the internet, which include Abu Dulamah&#8217;s biography, his humorous poems, and techniques of self-mocking humor. This data was then selected and classified into several categories according to the chosen topic. Then, it was analyzed using theories on poetry, Arabic rhetoric, and humor. After analyzing the rhetorical and humorous elements contained in his poems, this article agrees with the opinion that Abu Dulamah was a poet who was skilled at creating poetry. With its simple everyday themes and easy-to-understand language, it captivates readers. Therefore, the integration of the Arabic language has become an urgent necessity as part of an epistemological reform in Islamic education. This urgency can be observed from the perspectives of the Qur\u2019an, \u1e24ad\u012bth, and <em>Maq\u0101\u1e63id al-Shar\u012b\u02bfah<\/em>. This study employs a qualitative approach through library research, utilizing secondary data sources. The analysis is conducted using Vygotsky\u2019s Sociocultural Theory and the theoretical framework of <em>Maq\u0101\u1e63id al-Shar\u012b\u02bfah<\/em>. The findings indicate that, from the perspective of the Qur\u2019an, the Arabic language functions as the primary medium that ensures the authenticity and depth of understanding of Islamic history through direct access to revelatory sources without distortion. From the perspective of \u1e25ad\u012bth, Arabic serves as an epistemological foundation and a medium for the transmission of knowledge, fostering a collective, profound, and sustainable understanding in the study of Islamic history. Meanwhile, according to al-Sh\u0101\u1e6dib\u012b, Arabic constitutes an essential <em>was\u012blah<\/em> within the framework of <em>Maq\u0101\u1e63id al-Shar\u012b\u02bfah<\/em> particularly in relation to <em>\u1e25if\u1e93 al-d\u012bn<\/em> and <em>\u1e25if\u1e93 al-\u2018aql<\/em> positioning it as both a primary necessity and a complementary refinement in the learning process. Hossam Attaallah Elsaied Attaallah\u00a0<\/p><p>This study explores the poetic talent of Imam al-Shafi&#8217;i (may God be pleased with him), revealing his literary style in conveying his innermost thoughts and wisdom, imbued with asceticism, piety, and chastity. While Imam al-Shafi&#8217;i is known as a jurist (Faqih), and is the founder of one of the four major schools of Islamic jurisprudence, he was also an eloquent poet, possessing a refined sensibility, chaste nature, and gentle speech. He composed numerous poems on a wide range of subjects and themes, all of which focus on wisdom, asceticism, and contentment, yet are distinguished by their high literary quality. This aspect of his work is perhaps unknown to many, and this study aims to unveil this hidden facet of Imam al-Shafi&#8217;i&#8217;s literary output. The study will be a rhetorical and literary analysis of his poem &#8220;Let the Days Do What They Will,&#8221; (Da`ie Ayyamu Taf`alu Ma Tasha`uo)\u00a0 one of his beautiful poems that addresses predestination, divine decree, and God&#8217;s will concerning His creation, their sustenance, their destinies, and their lifespans. correspondence preserved in an Arabic manuscript from Ghana, consisting of a poem titled Tasliyat al-Ma\u1e93l\u016bm (\u201cConsolation of the Wronged\u201d) and a poetic reply. The study aims to explore the discursive structure and the social, religious, and pragmatic functions embedded in the two poems within the Islamic scholarly milieu of West Africa. The research begins with establishing the manuscript text, followed by a rhetorical, stylistic, pragmatic, and rhythmic analysis situated within its broader historical and cultural setting. The study demonstrates that the two poems form an integrated epistolary unit whose significance extends beyond literary expression to include functions of consolation, preservation of scholarly status, and management of social tension within the learned community. It also shows how themes such as envy, loss, and supplication are reinterpreted within a shared ethical and religious framework, while rhythm and stylistic organisation reinforce meaning and facilitate circulation within scholarly and pedagogical environments. This literature review aims to synthesize findings from 26 academic articles regarding the integration of LLMs and AI in Arabic language learning. Through thematic analysis, five key themes were identified: (1) cognitive support in writing skills, (2) motivation and technology acceptance, (3) computational linguistic challenges, (4) blended pedagogical innovations, and (5) academic integrity and the risk of dehumanization. Critical synthesis indicates that while LLMs can serve as cognitive support that enhances language fluency, their implementation also raises several concerns. These include the lack of AI detection systems for Arabic text and the potential decline in critical thinking skills among users. Overall, this article discusses the pedagogical, policy, and technological implications that must align with the principles of scholarly ethics, while identifying research gaps to be addressed in
